What does a more diverse metaverse look like?

The Diversity Team Networking Social is a great opportunity to discuss the challenges of diversity, accessibility, and inclusion in XR education and how to solve the challenges. Come meet other innovative thinkers eager to explore the possibilities.

The Educators in VR Diversity Team explores the challenges of diversity and inclusion across the fabric of the metaverse including cultures, ethnicity, accessibility, equal access, neurodiversity, celebrating our uniqueness and transformed by our global connectivity. Representing our diversity, we care about justice, and making a collective impact by honoring our stories and striving for empathic action, weaving together the metaverse to be stronger and richer.

Expect these sessions to touch upon sensitive areas. Please remember, these are NOT therapy sessions but may serve as support, sharing, and resource access opportunities.

Educators in VR is dedicated to integrating VR, AR, and XR into education and business. We host over 800 VR free and paid events, classes, workshops, and conferences annually covering all aspects of education. Educators in VR was formed in 2018 when educators came together to solve their common challenges, and has grown to over 4,000 members from around the world, and over a dozen Team Projects (special interest groups).
