Experience the Founding of America


History is happening in Altspace. Part roleplay, part debate, all history, this recreation of the debate for American Independence in the Continental Congress in June and July 1776 is sure to educate and entertain everyone. Join us as a Founding Father as you declare the Independence of the United States of America this Independence Day weekend.

This new large scale educational event hosted by Scott MacScott (portraying John Hancock) is a proof of concept for providing FREE educational events for students within Virtual Reality. Each participant will receive a copy of their lines prior to the event.

Though this event is designed for teachers and administrators who desire to incorporate VR into their 2022-23 curriculum, anyone is able to apply to participate though priority will be given to educators.
