Virtual Schooling Project - Educators in VR


We're gathering together those with an interest in virtual schooling, remote learning, distance learning, and homeschooling to network and connect with each other to discuss how this works, best practices, and the role VR, AR, and XR plays in virtual schooling today and in the future.

The Bring it Home Series focuses on homeschooling in the modern age as part of the virtual schooling team project. The goal of the series is to assist and inspire both parents and learners to succeed in their home learning environment. Please join us, in exploring and learning about the complexities of homeschooling in today's world.

Get to Know the Team Leader

Keely Canniff believes education and technology are transformative and actively integrates technology into the classroom. Keely specializes in extended reality (XR) applications and is a published author in IEEE VR. Coming from a homeschooled background, Keely enjoys researching and applying different methods of learning in education, both in-person and virtual. Currently, she is at University of the Pacific where she enjoys working with faculty, staff, students, and the community with XR projects.

Educators in VR is dedicated to integrating VR, AR, and XR into education and business. We host over 600 VR free and paid events, classes, workshops, and conferences annually covering all aspects of education. Educators in VR started in AltspaceVR when educators came together to solve their common challenges, and has grown to over 2,500 members from around the world, and over a dozen Team Projects (special interest groups).
