Join a gathering of thought leaders for a lively conversation on thinking with history in immersive learning environments. The panel includes Dr. Jim Clifford, Dr. Benjamin Hoy, Dr. Jay Wilson, Dr. Alix Green, and Dr. Atif Mohammed Ghani.

There will be examples of VR/AR projects designed for teaching historical thinking through engagement with digital recreations of past landscapes, events, and narratives. Scholars will debate the value of immersive technologies, simulations, and games for learning, focusing on history and museum applications.

Paula MacDowell, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum Studies, University of Saskatchewan. Her area of specialization is in Educational Technology and Design (ETAD).
