Cultural Heritage World Tour: The Acropolis

UniVirtual Experience

HOSTS: Lida Liberopoulou

Join Lida Liberopoulou, Cultural Heritage Preservation Team Leader, for a tour of The Acropolis world in AltspaceVR, her recreation of the famous archaeological site in Greece. The world is built to 1:1 scale and is based on the published works of architectural historians John Travlos and Emmanouil Korres (among others)

Lida Liberopoulou Has a BA Art Conservation and MSc in Computer Science and has worked for several years as a consultant in the IT sector. She has decided to learn Game Design and 3D modeling so she can focus on the recreation of Archeological sites in VR in an attempt to explore how these experiences can become more story driven, interactive and social. The Acropolis World (together with the Athens Agora world that preceded it) is an attempt at realising this vision.
