VR Relationships

Students in VR

VR is all about relationships, especially social VR. Educators in VR was built on those relationships, started here in AltspaceVR two years ago, it's grown to almost 3,000 members, and developed Students in VR.

Educators in VR Co-Founders, Daniel Dyboski Bryant and Lorelle VanFossen and the Educators in VR team will discuss relationships and making those magic, enduring connections in social VR and beyond in this interactive event.

Daniel and Lorelle are experts in VR social and production, and they will share their thoughts on the VR community and how to build your own. After all, the thing that VR does better than anything else is help build relationships, so critical today.

Two years ago, Lorelle and Daniel met in AltspaceVR at the first Educators in VR meetup. Since that time, the two have create a powerful team and community of educators, learners, researchers, and passionate enthusiasts determined to integrate immersive technology into education and beyond. Their 2020 Educators in VR International Summit attracted over 6,000 attendees over the 6 day, 24-hr conference across 5 VR platforms. They host over 300 events in VR a year, and have produced several large conferences and special events in VR with their production team. They are preparing for the UniVirtual Experience in February 2021, and you will be there for this innovative month-long conference event.

Students in VR: Students in VR Website is a student-led and produced project from Educators in VR presenting meetups, workshops, and conferences for and with students across multiple VR platforms.

The first Students in VR conference was in May 2020, bringing together students from around the world to produce and present at the innovative conference. Students in VR will be participating in the upcoming YOUNGA student take-over of the United Nations in November.
