Cyberbullying Discussion and Tips

Educators in VR Cyberbullying Team

This is the second year Educators in VR has tackled the tough topics in and around cyberbullying, and bullying in general. Today, Lorelle VanFossen, co-founder of Educators in VR, and her team will hold an open discussion on cyberbullying issues, from shared experiences to tips and techniques for responding to bullying experiences in VR.

We hear from so many that they feel there is nothing they can do when experiencing or witnessing a bullying event. This is not true. There is much you can do to protect and defend yourself, and luckily in VR, we have many tools to help.

We will discuss bullying from all angles, personal, professional, event hosting, VR, whatever you are up for. In the past, these events have been enlightening and informative as we learn from each other, the pioneers in VR.

Expect these sessions to touch upon sensitive areas. Please remember, these are NOT therapy sessions but may serve as support, sharing, and resource access opportunities.

Educators in VR hosts workshops, classes, and meetups across multiple VR platforms. Join our Educators in VR AltspaceVR channel for updates to upcoming events. To get the most out of our growing community, join the conversation and browse through a vast bank of resources on our Educators in Vr Discord and website Educators in VR for information. We often live stream or record presentations and workshops on our Educators in VR YouTube channel.
