Dr Lucy Gilliam will be discussing her work and how to best deal with the stress and anxiety associated with climate change, climate harm, and how to work towards building a better world for all of us in a world threatened by environmental and government policies.

Dr Lucy Gilliam joined T&E in September 2017 after several years consulting on environmental campaigns and having previously working as a science adviser in the UK civil service. She also spent five months as a trainee at the European Commission's research and innovation directorate, working on SME policy.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Lucy speaks English, Flemish and is also learning French and German. She holds a BSc in biological science and a PhD in molecular microbiology as well as a diploma in commercial coastal sailing vessels from Enkhuizen Nautical College. Lucy works in the aviation and shipping team at T&E as a campaigns and outreach specialist

Dana-Maria (CaptainVR), a professional personal development coach, opens the floor for discussion on fears, anxieties, stress, and frustration.

Share your thoughts on the challenges of dealing with these special times. (discrimination, riots, vandalism). Everybody will the chance to share tools, techniques, and tips for managing your stress level and encouraging positive decision-making.

Dana-Maria (CaptainVR) is the Team Leader of the Educators in VR vCoaching and Personal Development team, and she brings her evangelism in using virtual reality for coaching, training, and therapy applications to help people "captain their own lives." The research and application of virtual reality is a powerful tool for helping people to confront fears, build life skills, reduce stress and boost immune systems, and become more effective in their professional lives and work.

This is an open discussion not a therapy session.
