Pandemic: Students Speak Out

Students in VR

Students share their perspective on being young, students, and staying connected during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lawson Soukup and Kayla Jumper discuss their experiences as students during the pandemic, and share their experiences and hopes for virtual learning in the future!

Lawson is from urban San Diego and his school is currently online. Kayla is from rural Oklahoma and her school’s plan for COVID-19 featured paper instructions sent to students via the mail because her community is not connected.

NOTE: This is a Students in VR Take-Over of the Educators in VR Weekly Workshops in August.

Students in VR will be participating in the upcoming YOUNGA student take-over of the United Nations September 28 & 29, 2020.
