Can Social VR Save the Planet? Sustainability! Planet, People & Profits! #BSR19 #VRdays #VRawards

Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept of sustainability is composed of three pillars: economic, environmental, and social—also known informally as profits, planet, and people. How can virtual reality and social VR help achieve sustainability goals? For example, imagine if we replaced 90 percent of transportation (a major source of carbon and cause of climate change) with a virtual metaverse in which we work, entertain, and love? Please visit Sustainability World during this Health Systems Chat in Social VR event to discuss this and other exciting ideas. We'll also chat about sustainability in healthcare.

This event occurs during one of the longest-running and most prestigious sustainable business events, the Business for Social Responsibility Conference, 5th edition of VR Days, and immediate after the VR Awards.
